Mark McKenna (Baitcraft) has been Carp Fishing for over 24 years and has been a successful Carp Angler for most of this period (since the hair rig anyway). Mark has caught many big British Carp to over 47lb from some very tricky waters and has been developing bait products over a number of years through a desire to have a perfect bait with which to tackle waters in which ‘they've seen it all before. Here are a selction of Mark's features which have been published in Carpworld.

But after a word with Martin Ford, it became apparent that there was still much to be said for the dying art of bait-making!

BAIT - IT'S A FOUR LETTER WORD PART FIVE
As Shaun Harrison said in his piece in Carpworld 211, “It’s diffi cult to draw a line between divulging commercially sensitive information and being genuinely informative.” You can therefore understand that I’ve deliberately left out the edges that contribute to some of the success of my own products. That said, there is more than enough information to help anglers put together very effective baits for themselves if they so wish, and on the way to some excellent results.
