International Carper (a 32-page magazine incorporated into Carpworld) is a monthly magazine brought about by demand. Travelling abroad for carp fishing is now very much accepted by everyone and there is little doubt that it is the fastest growing area of the sport. Our other magazines have always carried articles on foreign carp fishing, but with the ever-growing increase in popularity, it was clear that a magazine solely dedicated to the subject was needed.
International carp fishing covers a wide variety of topics. The big-fish scene is very important and we cover most of the well-known big-fish waters of the world such as the Orient and Cassien. However, most popular of all are the commercial ‘holiday’ waters and we have regular features on which waters to go to and how to get the best out of them, the best carp rig to use for oversaes waters, as well as the Overseas Directory, the most concise list of overseas carp fishing venues available. Apart from all this, we will always bring you something of the unknown, waters you didn’t know existed until you read International Carper! We cover carp fishing in USA, almost anywhere! International Carper is the essential read for the travelling carp angler.
Carpworld/International Carper is on sale the first Friday of each month in newsagents, but don’t worry if your local shop has sold out, you can buy your copy here! Carpworld is also available on subscription, with regular great free gift offers – take a look in the online shop for the latest deals!

In this month's International Carper... Sweden is not the first country we think of for carp fishing, but it’s got lots of waters to choose from. Birger introduces us to the delights of fishing for carp in a country where he says there are only around 200-300 ardent carpers! Gin-clear water is both a blessing and a curse. Etienne Gebel has fished clear waters which taught him a lot and opened his eyes on fish behaviour and tackle concealment. check out page 180 to find out how he tackles such venues and why seeing with your own eyes is the way forward.
